TroveCleaner – Privacy Policy & End User License Agreement (EULA)

TroveCleaner (“the App,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is a device-cleaning application designed to scan your device for APK files, cache residues, and temporary data. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring full transparency regarding how the App operates and how your information is handled.

Introduction

TroveCleaner performs all scanning and cleaning processes locally on your device.

We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data.

This Privacy Policy explains what data is (or is not) collected, your data rights, third-party platform disclosures, our legal obligations, and how you may contact us.

Permissions Used

File Access Permission

The App requires permission to access files stored on your device so it can:

Scan for unused APK files

Scan for residual or temporary files

Display the scan results to you for manual cleanup

All analysis is performed locally.

No file contents, metadata, or personal information ever leave your device.

Data Collection Practices

We do NOT collect any data from you.

This includes but is not limited to:

Personal information

Device identifiers

File names or content

Usage analytics

Location data

Advertising data

Behavioral profiling data

We do NOT share or sell any data because we collect none.

Use of Third-Party Platforms

Even though TroveCleaner does not collect personal data, the App may include third-party SDKs or services for limited technical purposes.

4.1 Analytics & Attribution Platforms

Examples may include:

Firebase Analytics

App attribution platforms (e.g., AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch)

These platforms may collect anonymous, non-personal metadata such as install counts, crash logs, or anonymized technical metrics.

No personal or device content is provided by TroveCleaner.

4.2 Firebase Services

If Firebase services are used (Crashlytics, Analytics, Remote Config), they operate independently and may collect anonymized diagnostic information strictly for stability and performance improvement.

You may review Google’s Privacy Policy for Firebase usage:

Data Retention Policy

We do not retain any personal data.

Because the App performs all operations locally and does not transmit data to us, there is no retention period.

Temporary technical logs that may be generated by third-party analytics platforms are managed under their own retention schedules and cannot be linked back to you by TroveCleaner.

Legal Basis for Processing Data

Under GDPR and similar laws, we must disclose our legal basis for personal-data processing.

TroveCleaner does not process personal data.

If third-party services process anonymized diagnostic information, their legal bases may include:

Legitimate Interests (e.g., preventing crashes, ensuring app performance)

Contractual necessity (ensuring the app operates properly)

TroveCleaner does not have access to such data.

Children’s Privacy

TroveCleaner does not collect any personal information and does not target children.

If a child uses the App, no data is gathered.

International Data Transfers

Since TroveCleaner does not collect personal data, no data is transferred internationally.

Third-party SDKs may transfer anonymized technical data subject to their own privacy policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date.
